Early Careers Programs

2024 Summer Internship Program

Bungie internships are hosted every summer for 12 weeks

Internship Eligibility Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a U.S. college, university, or related program and returning to school in the fall upon conclusion of the internship

  • Available to work full-time 12 weeks throughout the summer with a set May or June start date

2024 Early-in-Career (EIC) Program

The EIC Program is earmarked for dedicated, full-time hires.

EIC Eligibility Requirements

  • A recent graduate from a U.S. college, university, or related program within 12 months from October 2023

  • Planning to graduate in Fall 2023 through Spring 2024

    OR

  • Moving from primarily learning to primarily working within 12 months

  • Transitioning from one craft, function, or discipline to a new one

Intern FAQ

  • Are Bungie internships paid?

    Yes, Bungie internships are full-time paid positions working 40 hours per week. On each internship job posting on our Bungie Careers site we list the compensation details as it could vary depending on the position.

  • Will this internship be remote?

    Bungie is leaning into a “Digital First” approach allowing remote work in Bungie-approved states. States will continue to be added as eligibility opens up. While most of our internships are remote-eligible, certain roles are on-site and will be listed as such in the job description.

  • What if I want to work in-office?

    Employees local to the Bellevue/Seattle area can use our headquarter spaces, which include a shared desk reservation system and many other amenities.

  • When should I submit my application?

    Since our intern programs’ start dates are in May and June, we recommend finalizing and submitting your application shortly after our intern roles are open.

  • Will I get to interact with studio leadership?

    At Bungie, we prioritize providing our interns with mentorship and the opportunity to learn from those that have gone before. Whether through informal social settings or specific Early Careers programming, you’ll get the chance to learn from leaders at Bungie and hear their stories.

  • What are work hours like?

    Bungie internships are full-time positions, and interns will be working a 40-hour week. Bungie’s core work hours are 10:00 AM–4:00 PM Pacific Time, allowing employees the flexibility to choose what additional working hours work best for them outside that range.

  • What type of projects do interns work on?

    At Bungie, our interns are a vital part of our team and do meaningful work! Obviously, the type of work very much depends on which internship you have, past projects have included helping to redesign our internal HR wiki, designing emblems for in-game events, concepting weapons/armor, implementing game engine changes, assisting with live productions, and more!

  • How do I increase my chances of being selected?

    One of the best ways to increase your chances is to apply early while roles are still open. Make sure that your resume shows skills relevant to the position, even if they’re from a school or personal project. And verify that your portfolio is easy to access and clearly highlights your best work.
