Contract 3D Hard Surface Artist

We are looking for artists to integrate 3D rewards content in game and bring it to a final polish. You will take ready to go low res weapon and vehicle models with foundational baked textures (normal, AO, etc.), put them through our proprietary engine software, and set up final textures and materials for shipping game content.

Estimated Duration: 6 Months


  • Integrate fully realized low res weapons and vehicles in game within our proprietary tools and workflow
  • Author realistic, futuristic, and sometimes space magic textures for multiple shader functions for PBR, such as albedo, normal, roughness, metal, and detail maps
  • Meet the quality bar established by the Art Director and Lead Artist

Required Skills

  • An understanding of hard surface, form, shape, structure, and silhouette
  • Proficient with 3DS Max, Maya, Blender, Photoshop, Substance Painter, Zbrush and/or Mudbox
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Participate in constructive critiques
  • Interest in creating great games

Nice To Have Skills

  • Working knowledge of PBR
  • Experience with Substance Designer, Substance Painter, and Marvelous Designer
  • Traditional art skills
