We are looking for an experienced leader who will partner with the CPO and business leadership team driving strategic and tactical aspects of People Operations for the Studio. We are scaling our business to meet the talent demands while intentionally curating the best employee journey. This individual will lead a small team whose charter includes: managing the annual talent strategy and program calendar; establish a Self Service strategy as we empower our employees and managers to direct access to information and managing changes; creation and management of key People Programs such as, Total Rewards (Perks, Benefits, Compensation) Engagement Surveys, Performance Management, HRIS, Immigration, and Policy/Guideline management. We are looking for a leader who desires to engage and drive change with a team as we shift toward driving enhanced business impact and overall talent effectiveness.


  • Develop and manage annual talent strategy and people program calendar/timing, in conjunction with the Chief People Officer, including managing budget consolidation, owning the annual people programs calendar, tracking goal commitments
  • Provide analysis and market comparison of Bungie’s Benefits, Perks, and Compensation, including trade-off decisions of all benefits, communication design of benefit offerings in the market for talent attraction and retention, and ensure effectiveness and efficiency of benefits renewal/open enrollment process
  • Proactively manage compensation strategies, overseeing general job profiles/level structure and competitive approaches
  • Develop and enhance people programs, including performance management, total rewards (market adjustments, bonus, profit sharing), open enrollment, and succession planning in partnership with COE and HRBP
  • Oversee effectiveness of HRIS system implementation and change aspects of deploying MSS/ESS
  • Lead team on HRIS best practices and actively manage HRIS consultants
  • Establish Quarterly Ops Reviews to design, measure, and track People Department’s effectiveness
  • Help to create and manage strategic dashboard of people data and trends, as well as work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the studio and broader strategic objectives
  • Create and maintain People Manager website to drive manager self-service and make resources inviting and more readily available; design, measure and track people department’s effectiveness
  • Work in partnership with D&I/L&D lead on the integrated launch of Individual goal setting studio-wide
  • Project manage the employee engagement survey, including the survey strategy, vendor relationships, survey execution, and reporting
  • Own immigration staying current with compliance, processes, and legal shifts; partner with recruiting on immigration process as we build out international workforce
  • Continually optimize Bungie’s Policies and Guidelines

Required Skills

  • Proven team leader with collaborative approach
  • Significant experience managing operational aspects of HR
  • Strong HR project management experience; PMP certification desired
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to key stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Expertise with process creation and change management
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Comfortable as a “hands-on” leader and willing to roll up your sleeves to get things done
  • Superb problem solving, organization, and critical thinking skills while exercising sound judgement; trends towards accuracy and being detail-oriented
  • Strong HR functional expertise; knowledgeable on employment law matters, employment legislation, and compliance management
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, rapid-changing environment by prioritizing situations which require a sense of urgency

Nice To Have Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Psychology, or related field preferred
