Our studio needs a seasoned Recruiter who will play a key role in growing the organization, as we continue into the next phase as a fully independent game studio.

This individual will partner with our creative leadership to identify candidate development strategies. You will partner closely with hiring managers and studio leads to help develop, deliver, and execute an inclusive and diverse talent strategy plan that aligns with Bungie’s growth plans while sustaining positive internal and external relationships. You will also help to provide critical talent insights to help inform and influence our recruitment process, hiring philosophies, and overall assessment practices.


  • Understand Bungie’s hiring needs and translate those needs into effective and efficient candidate generation and sourcing strategies with a primary focus across our art, design, story and production teams
  • Drive talent engagement and manage the full cycle recruitment process across several teams; acting and serving as the expert for technology recruiting
  • Serve as a brand ambassador at job fairs, conventions and industry specific conferences such as Siggraph and GDC; sourcing, targeting, and establishing relationships with potential candidates
  • Understand candidate needs and successfully close candidates; use a high degree of professionalism and savviness in generating and negotiating complex offers that typically involve pre-closing, competitive/counter offers, multifaceted total compensation plans, and equity to understand what will resonate and compel candidates to Bungie
  • Ensure that every candidate has an outstanding and inclusive experience
  • Collaborate and partner with recruiters, HRBPs, D&I, and the business to build our employment brand, story, and diversity initiatives

Required Skills

  • Proven success with filling complex roles; identifying talent, and business needs at all levels of an organization from mid to senior level roles
  • Experience with creating candidate pipelines and a proven track record of hiring success; implementing targeted sourcing strategies utilizing recruiting tools like LinkedIn, GitHub, Hiretual, and other deep internet research tactics
  • Ability to create unique and crafty messages that resonate positively with technical candidates with a high response/reply rate
  • Provide constant updates and communication (via email, chat, in-person) with hiring teams, stakeholders, and candidates alike so they are aware and up to speed with the latest updates and where things are at in the recruitment funnel
  • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills taking the initiative to build strong productive relationships while coaching hiring managers and providing best practices/craft expertise with the recruiting team
  • Well-versed with employment laws and immigration best practices
  • Management and/or mentorship experience within a recruiting organization; understanding team dynamics/health, career growth, performance management, and development opportunities for others
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System, preferably Greenhouse

Nice To Have Skills

  • Previous recruiting experience in the video game industry
  • Previous experience driving diversity sourcing strategies
