Senior Marketing Manager

Bungie is seeking an experienced and tenacious individual to support Marketing, PR, and Community as an integral part of the Bungie Marketing team.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in the successful orchestration of complex projects from concept through sustained release. You should possess Marketing experience, work well in a creative and technical environment, be detail-oriented, and be an excellent communicator.

During these uncertain times and rapidly changing environment surrounding COVID-19, all positions at Bungie are subject to onboarding and working virtually/remotely.


  • Drive Marketing tasks in specified areas for the marketing group
  • Mentor and manage Marketing managers and production coordinators
  • Define clear, realistic and solid production plans, assess risk and readjust when necessary
  • Collaborate with the marketing leads to provide relevant planning and documentation to ensure the successful delivery of their content
  • Strategically works with product team to amplify key sales events and initiatives
  • Leverages partner marketing through clear understanding of business forecasts and performance
  • Manages global trade marketing budgets in correlation to dynamic sales targets
  • Coordinates paid marketing executions on owned and partner channels
  • Facilitate ongoing and clear communication and collaboration between multiple parties and disciplines
  • Build effective relationships with First parties and external partners
  • Build and maintain any and all documentation necessary for the successful planning and tracking of marketing
  • Identify and address any process bottlenecks
  • Understand the risks and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Ensure proper and timely communication of relevant issues to Marketing leadership
  • Help drive the goals of broader studio milestones

Required Skills

  • Relevant experience in a Marketing manager or project management position
  • Experience managing and mentoring staff
  • Ability to foster a positive and productive relationship with external partners, and provide mentorship to other managers
  • Superior organization, communication and analytical skills
  • Results oriented, determined and composed under pressure
  • Able to identify and resolve conflicts with members of varied disciplines and external partners in a clear and efficient manner
  • Proven ability to quickly solve or seek the solution to any problem in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Passion, enthusiasm and knowledge of the games industry
  • Experience with Project management software and/or diverse project management methodologies required
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Nice To Have Skills

  • Experience working with marketing, game publishing, television, video, or other media production teams
