Bungie’s International Publishing team is currently seeking an experienced Events Manager to deliver creative, memorable and premium event experiences aiming at consumers, fans, online/offline media, content creators and business partners throughout the year.

From community mixers to press events, gaming shows and specific influencers’ activations, the Events Manager will consolidate all cross-functional and/or standalone events under one team responsibility to deliver cost efficient and technological consistent event experiences.

The Events Manager will work with EMEA PR Manager, Marketing Producers, Community Teams, Creative Directors to ensure event execution aligns with overall Marketing goals. Strong interpersonal skills are essential as this position as they must work with both creative and technical positions on a variety of projects. This role requires collaboration with the Marketing, Visual Design, Licensing and Merchandising teams, as well as the development team and publisher. The ideal candidate isn’t afraid to dive into projects head first and is keen to collaborate with producers, designers, engineers, artists and other talented and passionate individuals. requires frequent travel within territories, applicants must be willing and able to travel on a regular basis.

  • Oversee the design, technical aspects and delivery of each event including agency brief, AV, decor, creative, caterers, transportation, hotel and venues
  • Work in close collaboration with the local Marketing and PR teams who lead the overall campaign
  • Coordinate all stages of the event logistics: pre, during and post event, both on and off site
  • Ensure all events are executed on time and on budget (cost estimation, invoicing, follow-up)
  • In collaboration with the different internal or external stakeholders, establish and implement standardized process, guidelines, and tools from the event brief to its execution to ensure streamlined workflow across the board
  • Produce live broadcasts and streams
  • Create and communicate schedules for all events to the marketing team, public relations, and event staff as well the technical manager and director
  • Comprehensively manage preparation and on-site executions for various consumer events
  • Identify the right suppliers and negotiate annual agreements
  • Oversee all capture equipment inventory and deployment for events and internal loan guidelines
  • Stay on top of the game regarding events innovations and best practices

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in an event management, project management or production role. Agency experience is a plus
  • Experience with A/V and event production
  • Must be willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally to support events and to work irregular hours
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects and events
  • Impeccable organization, time management and self-sufficiency
  • Ability to remain focused and composed under pressure
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office tools (including Word, and especially, PowerPoint and Excel); Google suite and project management tools like smartsheet are a plus
  • Interest and knowledge of the videogame industry
  • Solution driven with the ability to collaborate and bring a positive attitude to a team environment
  • Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills
