The Director of Business Operations drives the rhythm of the business to define and realize Bungie's strategy. The DBO manages and coordinates a team of Business Operations Managers who align the organization to the ROB and strategy processes to ensure information is cascaded through the organization and plans are effectively rolled up and aligned.


  • Facilitates 5 Year Plan and Annual Operating Plan along with progress against them through Monthly and Quarterly Reviews
  • Owns the studio calendar in concert with the annual business rhythm
  • Manages studio decision-making forums such as product gates when executive review is required
  • Oversees BLT and BLT Stakeholders meetings, processes, and backlogs
  • PMs ad hoc strategic and tactical initiatives
  • Leads a team of Business Operations Managers embedded in individual teams to orchestrate studio planning, cascade goals and plans, and roll up and align initiatives


  • Experience leading and managing a Business Operations organization, preferably in games or entertainment
  • Experience coordinating annual strategy and budget planning cycles
  • Experience with business process design
  • Outstanding facilitation skills and experience working with senior leaders
  • Outstanding project management skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Evidence of superior people management skills
  • Proficient in project management tools and Excel
